DJ Shadow, the Triangle Remix
I recently got Endtroducing by DJ Shadow after really liking the more recent The Private Press, and it didn’t disappoint. So good is it in fact that a bunch of students recreated a couple of tracks acoustically using just percussion instruments, calling themselves The Shadow Percussion Project.
School band play ‘Endtroducing’ with real instruments
I managed to get the video of the performance from the Internet Archive in the end (67mb).

John Humphreys
“God, having read what they said about you in The Sun this morning, I’m surprised that you can get that close to the urinal” - John Humphreys after bumping into the PM in a Millbank loo.
He’s been censured by the BBC after a speech he gave.
But still, to have lightning rections like that, what a man.

Five tunes I’m currently digging
Since there has been very little of link interest on /. and MeFi (Mac Mini modded into the Millenium Falcon doesn’t really cut it these days), I give up and provide linkage via being tagged:
Ghost World - Aimee Mann
Kiss You Better - Maximo Park
Sink This Ship - Kaiser Chiefs
London, Can You Wait? - Gene
Neighbourhood #3 (Power Out) - Arcade Fire
(Tag chain: The America mystery deepens -> Delrico Bandito -> Karinski -> Transmission. It ends here because I’m a bastard.)
