Item 66, “It’s a Unix system!” not a flub
This is what the internet was invented for:

Warning: This Product Warps Space and Time in Its Vicinity.
“Health Warning: Care Should Be Taken When Lifting This Product, Since Its Mass, and Thus Its Weight, Is Dependent on Its Velocity Relative to the User.”

We salute the MPAA in their stuggle against all that is evil.
“Hey kid… you wouldn’t download a movie would you? Of course not. Then WHY are you stealing that old lady’s purse?
The MPAA has expanded the scope of their anti-piracy campaign, with spots specifically targeting horror fans, Bridget Fonda fans, and porn lovers. We salute the MPAA in their stuggle against all that is evil.”
The Fluffers Make Movies is the funniest.

Self Similar GNFR
Friday Fun: Self Similar Guns and Roses Midi Synth
Entire GNR songs sped up and used as the samples for Midi playback. Thus if you slowed down the resulting songs you’d hear the original songs. Or something; mathematical workings shown.
Fractacular!

Batman Begins
Batman Begins trailer (Quicktime 7, 115MB, 1280x544)
The resolution makes me giddy and is about the first thing to slow down the G5 iMac at work. Go Team HD!
It looks like with Liam Neeson as a Gotham Qui-Gon Jinn, Michael Caine as Alfred and Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman and Katie Holmes all thrown in for good measure this will be the first Batman film since 1989 that won’t suck.
Fingers crossed.

Fancy Dress
The next time someone I know organises a fancy dress party, the theme of which is ‘medical imaging equipment’, I know exactly what my costume is going to be.
(Oh, and if you’re in the UK, be sure to vote today, okay?)

“Is there a save point before that?”
“There are no save points when it comes to ladies, honey.”
