End Of Times
This is a story that is precisely 27 days too late, at least I’m hoping:
Tom Cruise dating actress Holmes
(Thanks, Scott.)

Math Rock
Geeky explanation of the cover artwork of Coldplay’s new album ‘X&Y’. (Apparently it’s a French 5bit binary representation of the title. Obviously.)

Merging Misery
Lane merging misery is something that all car commuters have to deal with regularly. If there’s one thing that’s guaranteed to enrage me it’s when cars go sailing down the outside lane apparently blithely unaware that in 100 yards they’re going to run out of road. (Say for instance on the M4 - A329M junction).
So it’s comforting to hear that it’s wider phenomenon.

Balldroppings
Balldroppings an ace experiment of making sounds with just dropping balls and the lines you draw using your mouse. Be sure to check out the keyboard shortcuts to increase and decrease the release rate. Reminded me of Lemmings for some reason.

Fractal Food
I’m just hoping that this isn’t a belated April Fool’s, chou Romanesco a member of the Brassica oleracea L species which apparently includes cabbage, broccoli and that festive favourite: Brussels sprouts.
Nature is awesome.
(Be sure to check out the photos on that page if nothing else.)

Postsecret
Postsecret - a gallery of postcards sent in anonymously, like a physical version of grouphug but with far more raw emotion and meaning. Which surely means that the book deal can only be round the corner.

“For Sale:

The Ring 2
“Perhaps, like me, he was disappointed the killer video was still only on VHS and hadn’t been updated to DVD format for the sequel.”
Rich on last nights viewing of The Ring 2. Take a friend.
