Lords of the Rhymes
Whilst waiting to be near a halfway decent cinema to see the third LOTR installment, the following Beastie Boys-esque video (8mb .mov) from Lords Of The Rhymes and Gollum throwing down some beats (flash) has kept me going.
Praise be for the intraweb.

“Don’t mix alcohol with stereotypes. If you are Irish, drink rum. If you are a pirate, drink whiskey.”
Festive satire from The Onion:
Christmas Brought To Iraq By Force
“BAGHDAD, IRAQ—On almost every corner in Iraq’s capital city, carolers are singing, trees are being trimmed, and shoppers are rushing home with their packages—all under the watchful eye of U.S. troops dedicated to bringing the magic of Christmas to Iraq by force.”

Merlin’s Lists of Five Things reminds me of some of the dialog from a certain classic film.

“When the sun sets at 2:30 in the afternoon, you gotta start drinking.”
4 facts about the Sheryl Crow gig yesterday:
1. People with block heads shouln’t be allowed in gigs. Nor should two of them be allowed to stand in front of me, especially if they’re not going to enjoy the gig.
2. Sheryl is a rocker. She rocks out.
3. Like a fine wine, Sheryl has improved with age. Get up!
4. Ronnie Wood joined Sheryl for three songs. Rock!

IE 3, 4, 5 or 5.5? have them all
Even though Microsoft may have claimed that IE was ‘part of the operating system’ during the past anti-competitive hearings you can now have all previous versions of IE as standalone applications. Something that in the past required multiple computers, multiple boot partitions or VMware yet was possible all the long.
The technique is describe in detail on Multiple IE’s in Windows or, if you just want the goodies, then you can download zip files of each version from skyzyx.com.
Now you can see just how bad the web used to look…
